BURGER KING CANNES

Burger King was named Marketer of the Year at the annual Cannes Lions Festival, and they seized the opportunity by sending the BK King to the conference as a full-fledged delegate.

Over the course of a week, the BK King engaged in various activities. He participated in yacht parties, performed a DJ set, and thoroughly enjoyed the Cannes experience, embodying the unique Burger King spirit.

Additionally, we recreated the living room from the Subservient Chicken campaign and placed the Subservient Chicken in it to interact with conference attendees.

Maintaining the illusion of the King as a normal delegate was challenging, especially in the 90-degree heat and 70% humidity. These conditions limited the performer inside the suit to 20-minute segments. The limited visual and audio field for the performer also posed a challenge, necessitating the development and deployment of a robust communication and performance support structure.
