PUMA MADE IN AMERICA

PUMA envisioned creating a regulation basketball court at the “Made in America” music festival to not only engage festival-goers with the sport but also to infuse the space with a sense of art and culture. This would serve as a physical manifestation of PUMA's brand values—innovation, performance, and style—while also providing an interactive experience at the festival.

Joshua Vides was selected for his distinctive monochromatic, sketch-like style that transforms three-dimensional spaces into 2D visuals.

A modular basketball court was painted by Joshua and his crew over a week at an offsite warehouse, assembled in under eight hours at the event site, and then was enjoyed by festival-goers throughout the three-day event.

Along with impromptu pickup games, the court became a hub for brand engagement as festival-goers were invited to customize their own PUMA basketballs, participate in tournaments with sports celebrities, and provided a striking backdrop for sharing on social media
